A Cog in the Writing Machine

It's hard to think of any other reason to mainly choose taking a sophomore comp than it was mandatory. Which is kind of a jerk thing to say but I had forgotten about taking a composition class until my advisor reminded me that I was due for my final credit hours in composition. That doesn't mean that I don't like rhetoric and argument and writing. I do, quite a bit actually. However, the love of writing is not what spurred me to take this class, it just makes taking this class all that more exciting. 

I mainly write poetry, short stories, and research papers now. I know, that's kind of an awkward combination. However, the research papers are in conjunction with what I would like to get my Masters in one day and is quite enjoyable. Other than the academic though, poetry and short stories are my main stay when it comes to writing. I love words and the way they look and sound, I'm a total nerd in that way.

And I do not have the book in my grasp right now so I haven't started reading it so I will revise this when I actually start to read the chapter which is now due next Tuesday. I honestly think that blogs truly represent people in every form. With the colors or lack of colors used, you can tell what kind of person the blogger really is. My colors are light and airy and kind of mod, which is me but not? My favorite color is black and I like dark, gothic things but there is a huge part of me that I love beautiful, delicate things and I love the fact that my blog which will probably be filled with rather caustic arguments will be offset by the delicate nature of the colors and font.

Oh and I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of the course syllabus.
