In Class: Wth am I doing?
Ok Amanda, I have to say this: THANK YOU!!! I seriously had no idea what I was going to write about because well, Marriage and weddings is a HUGE topic! I mean so big they have t.v. shows and bridal extravaganzas and everything like that! I went to the Bridal Extravaganza in the George R Brown Convention Center when I was five and I STILL remember all the things that were there. Walking around on the crimson carpet that was layed out in the dealers room and the cars that were for show, the gowns, the table clothes, the colors, the dresses, the tuxes...everything! It was fantastic. However, since that's a bit TOO big for me I think this Bridal Run idea is much better. It's one day. 24 hrs (or however long they have dresses left over) I mean I have seriously read blogs and articles about this thing and I have been to that store. It isn't normally a bridal store, did you know that? Cah-ray-zay.
HOWEVER
...I'm capitalizing a lot arent' I?
Anwyays, however, I mean, how many pages and what am I rhetorically analyzing? I mean...it's a bridal run? I just want to seem educated like we're supposed to in these pictures and not bumble around....I know we're supposed to be analyzing buuuuuut....I dunno, I just feel as if I'm not fully aware of what is expected from us on this paper. I have read the directions that were sent to us but you saw today that I fully didn't grasp the concepts and ideas that we could analyze, didn't think I could do the bridal run (actually, had forgotten about it until you had mentioned it, thanks!) Anyways, yeah...so, how about some help on that? Can we re-talk about what's expected from us on the paper? I know grammar and being smart and all that stuff, normal college, but what does Amanda Irvin want from her English 20803 class on this paper centered around Rhetorical Analysis? Just wondering.
